What's This Plant? An Easy Way to Find Out!
USDA Plant Database
You might want to sit down.

The website you're about to view has some very appealing photos, and you may find it hard to walk away. We're talking plants—tens of thousands of them! They're part of the USDA Plant Database, a fantastic resource for gardeners.

We like this site because it's useful: Not only will you find more than 40,000 photos to help you identify plants, you'll also discover helpful plant information.

It's also user-friendly. You can search the database by scientific name or common name. Or search by state to find some interesting prospects for your garden in your locale.

The site also has a database of endangered plants, which allows you to find out which plants are at risk in your state.

So kick off your shoes and get comfortable. It's time to discover some plants!
