Video: Make A Living Centerpiece
 |
Friends and neighbors are used to swooning over your gardens. But wait until they see how you put your plant know-how to work on enchanting holiday décor!
Mark Addison of Celebrations.com demonstrates how to use living plants to make your own table decoration (it can also be used as a wreath). Addison especially likes working with moss and succulents, but you can easily adapt his tips for use with other plants. Addison also shows how to turn your living creation into an elegant tablescape using glass containers and floating candles.
You won't have to go far to find supplies for this project: Everything you need can be found at local craft stores and garden centers. You'll have the fun now of making a unique centerpiece and the satisfaction later when your guests praise you for your talents combining decorating and gardening.
Well done!
