This Kids Project Is Bird-Approved
bird feederThe holidays are still weeks away, but already the kids are starting to vibrate with excitement. You need a distraction, fast!

This sweet bird feeder is just the ticket. Using oven-bake clay, it can be made in an afternoon. Your children will love every step of it, from rolling out the clay to filling the finished feeder.

Then the next round of fun begins, when you hang it outdoors. Put it near a window so the kids can watch from inside. Before you know it, the birds will be feasting and singing their praises.

You might want to make several of these, so your kids can give them as gifts. When packaged with a bag of birdseed, it's just the kind of present teachers and grandparents adore!
