Which New Annual Will You Plant?
 
Nothing cheers up gardeners like plant shopping, especially this time of year. As you plan for this coming growing season, you'll want to make room for three new-for-2014 annuals we're loving!
 
'Snap Daddy Peach' Snapdragon'Snap Daddy Peach' Snapdragon
This new snapdragon from ItSaul Plants offers long-lasting blooms in a pretty shade of peach atop unusual variegated foliage. A great addition to beds, borders and containers, 'Snap Daddy Peach' grows 10 to 12 inches wide and 18 inches tall.
 
Zahara Sunburst Zinnia Zahara Sunburst Zinnia
Introduced by W. Atlee Burpee & Co., Zahara Sunburst is notable for its bold, bicolor orange and yellow flowers and a compact habit that keeps plants tidy all season. Blooms are longer lasting than comparable varieties and disease, heat and drought tolerance are good, too. Plants grow 24 to 36 inches tall and wide.

Often called million bells, calibrachoa is always an easy-going beauty in the garden. Ball Horticultural Co.'s MiniFamous Double Blue Calibrachoa takes things up a notch with its striking blue-purple double blooms and a semi-trailing habit that's perfect for containers and hanging baskets. Plants grow 10 to 15 inches wide and 7 to 10 inches tall.
